These specimen grips are suitable for testing elastomer ring specimens to DIN 53 504, Standard Ring 1 & 2. Force transmission is by positive clamping via horizontally mounted rollers.

Function description

The specimen grip has horizontally mounted rollers. A spring hinge generates an autonomous rotary motion. This rotary motion facilitates form fitting force transmission.

The spring hinge snaps out of position if the maximum permissible travel range is exceeded.
