Configuration interface for robotic testing systems
The SmartWizard is a wizard for the autoEdition3 automation software, with which the robot testing system can be independently adapted by the operator to modified specimen shapes or sequences. It offers the freedom and flexibility you need to be successful in a world of fast and continuously evolving requirements.
Your testing system is ready to learn!
Automated materials testing presents a series of advantages. The two most important are the reduction of operator influence on the test results and the relief of operating personnel from the monotonous task of changing specimens.
We have learned directly from our customers that while they are very much interested in these advantages, conventional automation systems are both too expensive and not flexible enough. With our standard packages (roboTest L, roboTest N and ALEX), combined with the autoEdition SmartWizard, we can offer an affordable automated materials testing system that can be easily customized to meet specific testing requirements—quickly, easily and on site.
New specimen types? No problem!
With the autoEdition SmartWizard, new specimen types can be created independently by the operator. The wizard enables the user to integrate individual specimen shapes into the test system.
The input is very simple:
- New specimen dimensions can be entered directly
- Specimen shapes already stored in the system can be selected
The autoEdition SmartWizard automatically adjusts all the required parameters of the automation system.
With new specimen types, correspondingly adapted magazines or specimen grippers can also be configured and adapted in the test system—all directly on site.
Simply looking to automate? No problem!
Even if you already have an established test arrangement, automation can be easily retrofitted.
With the SmartWizard, you can continue to use your existing testXpert III test programs for automated testing. This way you can be sure that the test will be carried out in exactly the same way as before.
