Techno Labor Expands Their Range of Services with a High-Capacity Testing Machine Z1200E
Techno Labor in Bottrop, Germany is an experienced service provider for contract testing. In addition to destructive materials testing, their range of services also includes non-destructive testing. The DIN EN/IC 17025 accredited testing laboratory performs tensile tests, notched impact tests, hardness tests and other tests and examinations according to various regulations and customer specifications. The range of services includes testing in the lab and directly at customer premises.
In addition, Techno Labor offers training for welders along with monitoring and approval by TÜV Nord or TÜV Rheinland in their training center in Bottrop.
With our ZwickRoell high-capacity testing machine Z1200E, Techno Labor expanded their range of services to include tests on high-strength materials and larger specimen dimensions.
With the new testing machine, the increasing demand for tests according to Method A(1) of the DIN EN ISO 6892-1 standard is met. With just a mouse click, the testXpert III testing software allows us to prove to auditors and customers that the strain rate control function is working properly,” said laboratory manager Carsten Bungard (Laboratory management: mechanical-technological materials testing, analytics, corrosion testing, metallography).
Along with tensile testing on metals according to ISO 6892-1 Method A(1), A(2) & B, transverse tensile tests on welds according to EN ISO 4136 and tensile tests on steel for the reinforcement and prestressing of concrete and load-bearing welded joints according to ISO 15630-1 and EN ISO 17660-1 are also performed. With the use of extremely efficient gripping tools, the tensile testing machine can be quickly converted to also perform tube pull-out tests on tube welds according to EN ISO 15614-8, for example.
Due to the large load range (2.4 - 1,200 kN) the testing machine can also be used as backup for the smaller machines in the lab.
